This was really a day of Parks and gardens with adoring the fascinating Chinese scenery. It started with Shichahai Park where all kinds of vehicles can be used to explore the big territory. You can rent different types of bicycles, tricycles and whatever else you can ride on. This is a nice place for families on Sundays.

Jingshan Park was our next spot. Its trump was very beautiful and outstanding landscapes from the top. Especially, the view to the Forbidden City with houses attached to each other was something amazing – like a big map in front of view. You can see every house, every path.

Filled with the fresh greens, we started wandering around and discovered a nice shopping street close to Zhangzizhonglu metro station. It was a street of peculiar arts and crafts and lots of other interesting things you could buy as a souvenir: handmade photo albums and frames, interesting notebooks, cute hair pins and handbags and other demanding-to-buy stuff. Also, we found a nice café there ‘Better Travel than Dead’ which was not only a cozy place where to sit and drink coffee, but also a kind of travel library with Lonely Planet travel books about lots of different places in the world. We used this chance to take a look at Shanghai, our next destination.
